I was doing deadlifts with not a lot of weight and I felt a sharp pain on the right side of my lower abdomen, but it went away quickly so I finished the set. A week went by and I didn't feel a thing so I forgot about it. Now I started bloating and hawing gasses and my whole lower abdomen is in pain, I can do physical activities without any pain and discomfort but the pain starts whenever I sit down or lay the doctor gave me paracetamol for the pain and left me with that what should I do?
If you have flatulence and pain now after injuring it a week later but not having pain, chances are it is not musculoskeletal and likely GI. I would go to a GI specialist. If I may I would also make a recommendation to you. If you do something and it causes severe pain, dont resume that activity until you are checked out. Just a suggestion. I would get a second opinion. Demand further testing. Also have your appendix checked as well as possibility for some form of a hernia.
I would definitely make an appointment with a GI gastrointestinal doctor. If you are worried and don't feel you should wait, go to your regular doctor again or an urgent care or emergency room. Please make them rule out a hernia. If pain continues have them order a scan to rule out a tear.
Re lower abdomen pain A few things to worry about with abdominal pain. Hernia is my first concern. You would feel a raised bump, I would assume your MD that gave you a script would have checked for this. Appendicitis and IBD are other worries. If the chiropractor was going to help, I'd start with a low back xray. Pinched nerves in the lower spine could cause these problems. We have digital xray on site for immediate answers and take most all major insurances. Cash Xray is, I believe, about 50 dollars. Assuming you don't have any of the major concerns causing you condition, always start with the least costly and least invasive treatments to uncover the root cause of the problem. I'd start with and xray and possibly recommend chiropractic and acupuncture which have in office. Best of luck, Dr. Schultz.
Have you noticed any lumps or bulges in the area?.
Might be a hernia.Have it checked by a hernia surgeon.
You need to see a physician to evaluate the problem. Not just treat with pain meds.
This sounds like you may have a bit of a hernia happening, or at least the beginnings of. Feel around for any bulges in the lower abdomen or maybe be seen by the orthopedist and your doctor for that. Avoid any deadlifts for now or squats.

It sounds like something that needs more investigation. I would suggest you follow up with your doctor again and let them know how you responded to the medication. Imaging, like an ultrasound or CT scan may be necessary.
It sounds like a torn abdominal muscle, but most probably a hernia. I suggest seeing a gastroenterologist as soon as possible. If it steadily becomes worse and more frequent before your appointment, go to the ER.

Consult GI, this could be a hernia. You may need Surgery to repair defect.
