Hello,

This is common. It is the referral pattern of the uterus to the back. ou may have a retroverted uterus. NSAIDs, such as Ibuprofen and Tylenol, and heat are helpful for this problem. Also, consider seeing your gynecologist for workup of possible PMDD.

Sincerely,

Hi,

Pain during menstrual cycles are likely sign of gynecological pathology. Could be an ovarian issue or endometriosis for example. My recommendation is to see your OB/Gyn. She/he may order an ultrasound to assess the matter further. I know it's not as helpful when these answers tell you to see your doctor, but I hope the advice helped a little.

You should be evaluated by a pain specialist who can take a history and examine you, review imaging studies you have had performed, and discuss treatment options you may be a candidate for. The good thing is there are newer and better modalities in medicine to help people with pain

You are likely in need of a consultation with your GYN. You might need an exploratory laparoscopy to rule out extra-uterine seating.
