Ingrown toenail infection?
My toe hurts so much but there is nothing on the outside and I think it is an ingrown toenail. If I get an infection is it dangerous? It is really painful and im so scared.

Most often infections will heal on their own, but sometimes they don't. When they don't you risk developing cellulitis or even sepsis, which can be life threatening. In-grown toenails can be quite painful. Signs of infection would usually include redness, swelling, leakage. I would recommend seeing your doctor or a podiatrist to have it looked at to be sure.
