I had stent surgery and have chest pain. Is chest pain normal after stent surgery?

Chest pain after stent is not very common. If your chest pain has the same pattern as the chest pain before the stent you need to contact your cardiologist for further instructions. Sometimes inflammation of the sac around the heart can cause chest pain , this condition is benign and has good prognosis.
Not really would discuss this with the interventionalist who performed the procedure as heart anatomy can be different.
