Is disc hernia surgery worth it?
I was diagnosed with a disc hernia. I want to treat it. Is disc hernia surgery worth it?

90% of disc herniations do not need surgery. Typically they will respond to physical therapy and symptomatic care within 6 weeks. If not improved or worsened may need surgery but we need to discuss with your spine surgeon.
