• Is medication required for anxiety?

I have very bad anxiety, and often have a very hard time doing the simplest of tasks. Would I need medication? I am always concerned about potential side effects.

It is likely that a medication can help you without giving you side effects.

Chronic anxiety which occurs with little or no situational stimulus are usually effectively treated with a serotonin uptake inhibitor effectively with few if any side effects.
