Is Parkinson's curable?
My father has just been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Is this curable? What can my dad do to slow down the progression of the disease?

Though there is no cure, there are a number of medications available to control the symptoms.In some cases deep brain stimulation will help. A neurologist may also be able to determine if it is isolated or part of a syndrome. Supportive and symptomatic treatment is also important.
