Is pleurisy contagious?
I am an asthmatic and I’ve picked up pleurisy but I’m not sure what from, I have extreme chest pains and a dry cough. Is pleurisy contagious?

Pleurisy is not contagious , but , if pleurisy is due to infection , family members can be infected too & develop pleurisy or other complications ..
Pleurisy itself is not contagious. However, it may be caused by many infections, viral and bacterial, and those may be contagious.
