Is pneumonia an infectious disease?
My husband has been recently detected with pneumonia. Is there a chance that the infection could even spread to my kids?

Extremely doubtful unless he has the flu, but your children should be vaccinated.
Yes it is an infection most pneumonia can be contained especially in someone with normal immune system. Will need antibiotics if bacterial.some pneumonia can be transmitted to family. Take precautions cover mouth and wash hands frequently, see your infections disease doctor if worse
