Is there a cure for lung cancer?
My mother is 74 years old and is suffering from lung cancer. Before I put her on chemotherapy, I wanted to understand if there is any cure for lung cancer and is it worth putting her through the intense treatment.

It depends on what stage her cancer is. If it is only in the lung, there is a chance for cure. If it has spread to other parts of her body, we can still treat it, but are unlikely to cure it.
