Lip laceration
I got into an accident and a piece of my bottom lip is missing.
I would say the size of the nail on a pinky finger.
It’s not deep. I put Vaseline on it. It’s been 2 weeks and still healing.
Will it heal back to normal? Or will it stay like that?

Hello,
It will eventually heal on its own but it won't heal to be totally normal. You will have a scar that may need to be revised depending on what you do and don't find acceptable when you look at the final result. I can't tell you how severe the scar will be without knowing exactly how the wound looks currently. I hope this helps!
