Pain is getting bad down thru lower abdomen, doc says will get worse. Is that true towards the end?

Yes it's a progressive disease that would benefit from hospice services for comfort and guidance based on his goals of care.
Cancers are known to cause pain. The pain depends upon location, size, and associated other medical conditions. The pain of cancer can get worse at any stage of the disease's progress. Recommend seeking a Palliative care consult.
