I have been on my period off and on since August but in September I passed large clots and since then I have had bleeding most days now. I am bleeding heavy no large clots just period lasting far to long rang doctor said I should have a blood test.

You should have an ultrasound done as well as blood testing. Then once those results return you would have more information about further testing if needed.
You need blood test to test your hormones & a sonogram to look at endometrial lining
