Mild anemia?

My husband is 66 years old. His dr. had some lab work and send him the results, he has mild anemia. What should he do to help it?

You need a workup by a hematologist and a gastroenterologist.

A sixty-six-year-old should not have anemia. He needs to be checked for gastrointestinal bleeding and watched for further anemia.

Check hx of colonoscopy

Before one can improve the anemia, first would need to figure out why there is mild anemia.
