• Missed period

I haven’t had my period for 6 months. I just got it today but should I still go see a gynecologist and get checked out? I’m currently on birth control and my period is usually regular, I would miss 2 months at most but not 6. I haven’t stopped birth control at any point in time.

Yes you should be evaluated for confirmation. Some women do not get a period after long term use of a hormonal contraception

It is probably b/o the pill. Be sure you are not pregnant if sexually active. It might be good to see Gyn & check thyroid & prolactin. All might be ok but checking those labs would be good.

This is probably normal. it is common to not bleed while on the pill, especially if it is a low-dose pill You should go to the doctor so they can do an ultrasound to make sure, but most likely this is a normal side effect from the birth control pill.
