Every time I eat my nose runs. It is embarrassing eating in public. I do not take any regular medication and am otherwise quite fit and healthy.
That could be vasomotor rhinitis. Does it depend on the temperature of the food you're eating?

Physiologic event that occurs in older individuals due to parasympathetic innervation response to food intake. Can be incited by certain foods and odors. It is hyperactive vasomotor rhinitis. Can be form of dysautonomia. Have your doctor Rx Atrovent nasal spray. Spray your nasal airways with this medication thirty minutes before meals.
Ask your ENT doctor about a condition called Vasomotor Rhinitis. There are some nasal sprays that can help if that’s what it is.
