• Omicron with immunodeficiency disease?

I am 25 years old unvaccinated due to allergy to the vaccine and have a suppressed immune system due to Stephen Johnson syndrome. I have the omicron variant and am wondering if I should quarantine longer than 5 day due to my preexisting health conditions.

Hello, yes you should isolate yourself for at least 14 days due to the sensitivity of your body systems. Being extra cautious is a natural thing and should be considered in any case of questions. SANITATION plays a big part in killing germs. Please remember you also have to think of your mental health when quarantining. Telehealth is offered to people whom are in isolation for health related issues and are accessible. Please speak with your PCP about your health related questions.

No you do not have to quarantine any longer because of your immunodeficiency. Just take extra precaution with yourself, like extra immune boosting remedies, to heal a little faster.
