• Possibly tape worm infection?

My dogs had fleas, I have two small dogs that are very hairy, but they don’t shed. We didn’t realize the issue. My husband and I shaved the dogs. There was a wound at the base of one dogs tail. We got pimples up our arms/legs. Individual spots. I woke up the next morning and had worm issues. One was in my stool. In my eye lid. Now my feet and hands have swollen. I’m in pain.

I would certainly contact your physician and ask them to rule out visceral larva migrans (which is caused by Toxocara sp.) or a tapeworm (as you so greatly noted) or hookworm infection.

Thanks for your question.
The best is to visit a physician specialized in parasitosis. This is the only way you may have the appropriate treatment.
My best to you and stay safe!

Thanks for the question.
Please see your doctor. If this is due to worms, they can be treated. If not, the cause needs to be determined.
