Pro bnp of 194
I just had a Pro bnp blood test..My rate was 194 and considered high.I am 72 with an ejection fraction of 51 after an Echocardiagram. My last pro bnp was 121 8 months ago..Should I be concerned with this latest test..I don't see my doctor until the end of December.

The BNP is mildly elevated. I would recommend you keep your December appointment. Best Regards, David Dobies MD
