I hiked approximately 7 miles today after about a week of very little activity (I recently returned to my dad's home after a year of living and working abroad and have been basking in laziness). I then went out to dinner and walked another mile or so in very high and uncomfortable stiletto heels (which I haven't worn in over a year) and partway through dinner my thighs and ankles started to hurt. I'm now experiencing radiating pain in my lower stomach (like period cramps but I'm not on my period), the front of my thighs near my knees, and my biceps. Should I be concerned or is this just muscle soreness after my exercise today and from wearing heels after a long time out of practice? I've experienced muscle soreness after exercise before (obviously) but never this intensely. I'm not noticing any swelling or redness in my legs or arms.
Certainly sounds like overuse. I would suggest some ibuprofen or Acetaminophen, rest, and ice over the next few days to see if it improves. If not, you should see a physician to evaluate your musculature.

Keep yourself well hydrated, take a break from the heels. If you can tolerate Tylenol or Aleve, I would give that a go. Stretch and start a gradual return to activity.
