• Rectum question?

Hi, I recently started having dyssynergia defecation where my anus tenses, and I have to consciously relax to poop. I also started taking sea buckthorn recently which apparently heals and proliferates mucosal membranes/skin. Is it possible that the sea buckthorn is overly healing my anal area and causing it to be too active?

I am not aware of sea buckthorn having any benefit for the GI tract. The treatment for dyssynergia is to do physical therapy with biofeedback.

If taking a supplement seems to have caused you symptoms just stop it. The
mechanism for which it caused this issue I am sure is unknown
