SI fusion by interventional radiologist?

Can an interventional radiologist do SI fusions? I’ve been referred to one. I’ve been an X-ray tech many years ago and never saw this. Is it ok?

Yes this is a common procedure done by Orthopedic Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists.
