I want to have a chiropractic adjustment. Should you go to the chiropractor before or after a massage?

Either actually works!! Increased mobility of the joints plus the therapeutic benefits of massage on muscle tissue pairs together!

You should go immediately after the massage when you are most relaxed.

It doesn't make any difference physiologically. It depends on your sense of wellbeing.

Why do you want adjustment? Is it because you’re muscles are weak? There’s no correlation between Chiropractic and massage

You can go to a physical therapist who can perform a “manipulation” (nothing is getting adjusted. No such thing as a subluxation) and they can do soft tissue. That’s if it’s needed based upon a physical exam.

This is a great question! There is no rule per se, but it is ideal to have a massage before seeing your Chiropractor. The reason being the muscles get so relaxed that the adjustments are easier on both the patient and the Doctor.
