I have been taking cephalexin for my strep throat for about 24 hours and it is causing chest pain. I’m allergic to amoxicillin so this was the medicine they gave me. Should I stop taking it?

You should definitely consult with the prescriber or the pharmacist that gave you the medication. Cephalexin should not be causing chest pain, and it could be due to something else entirely. Any chest pain should be taken seriously.
