• Skin tags?

Have you ever heard of a skin tag growing out of a mole? The mole has been there since birth. The skin tag is about 7 months old.

Yes, a skin tag can grow from a mole, but it’s uncommon. Skin tags are usually harmless, but since the mole has been there since birth and changed recently, it’s a good idea to have it checked by a dermatologist.

A doctor can:

Examine it closely to make sure it’s safe.
Remove the skin tag if needed.
Check for any unusual changes in the mole.

At Irvine Skin, we provide expert mole and skin tag evaluations. Book a consultation today!

Could be a skin tag or a wart or something else. Best to get checked out by your local dermatologist.
