• Steri strips?

I think my OB used a steri strip to close my incision after c-section. That was 7 weeks ago and it's still on. Can I take it off and if yes how do I do that?

Yes. Carefully lift one end of the strip and gently pull off. To remove adhesive not within the incision line, you can use a small amount of lotion or rubbing alcohol. You should have a annual exam done by your provider 3 months after delivery. As annual exams are important to address any concern regarding contraception, get preventative health etc.

Simply peel it off like you would a band aid.

Yes - you can remove the steri-strips. Peel them off like a bandaid.

This is a question you should ask your OB who performed your procedure.

Yes. Just peal it off. You may do it in the tub or shower if you would like.
