Can I take a 10 mg THC pill for kidney stone pain while I’m taking Cipro 500 mg?

Hi, Cipro can inhibit the liver enzymes that metabolize THC, which can increase the levels of THC in your bloodstream, amplifying its effects. This can cause anxiety, paranoia, confusion, hallucinations, and other side effects. I dont know if you are a regular user of THC or a new user, but 10 mg is considered a moderate dose, and a new user should start on a lower dose, FYI, but not while on Cipro, sorry. Ask your doctor for some pain meds if overthecounter meds arent working. Vanessa

You should ask your doctor who prescribed. There are no studies that show cross reaction of Cipro with THC. But kidney dotcor should have final say. L. SmithChase, MD
