• Throat issues?

Lately, I’ve been having an insane amount of mucus buildup. I’ve been having stomach aches, headaches, and I’ve been extremely fatigued. I tested for covid and it came back negative. Is it possible for it to be anything else? I definitely have pharyngitis and I do get it a lot however I’ve never had the other symptoms with it, usually just a sore throat. My tonsils are also a normal size.

Please see your primary care provider for evaluation should your condition persist beyond two weeks. Any upper respiratory infection and a number of other conditions can cause these symptoms.

There are a host of other viruses that still cause common illness symptoms like these. Typically they take anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months to totally clear up. Recommended supportive care includes medications like mucinex, as well as nasal saline rinses, decongestants, and anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen.
