It depends on the height of the surface from which the child fell off. If the height of the surface is less than 3 feet and the child looks good without any symptoms such as vomiting or headache, we can just monitor the patient closely.

I would rub some ice on it. Keep an eye out for different signs such as vomiting, increased sleepiness or change in behavior. If she has any of those signs she needs to be evaluated in the ER.
