Side effects of beta blockers are bradycardia, bronchospasm, hypoglycemia, hypotension, dizziness, sexual dysfunction and fatigue. As Beta blockers cause bronchospasm they are contraindicated in patients with asthma and COPD. And in diabetics they can also mask the symptoms of hypoglycemia, so they are used with caution.
