Unfortunately I’m not a radiation therapist. I know it can cause bladder disfunction and can effect the nerves in the area which among other things control erectile function, so definitely things to discuss with your radiation therapist.

Radiation is effective and fairly safe. There is the possibility of colitis, and radiation injury to the rectum. Radiation injury to the bladder can also happen. A consultation with your Radiation Oncologist can give you more precise estimates of the likelihood of complications, and their expected severity.
