Prepare the teeth and make the veneers
When someone asks me about veneers, I always start with a simple chat to understand what theyd like to improve. Maybe its the shape of their teeth, the color, or closing a gap. Then, I take a good look at their teeth and gums to make sure veneers are the right fit. If everything checks out, Ill take impressions or digital scans of their teeth to plan everything out. After that, I gently smooth down a tiny bit of enamel from the front of the teeth so the veneers sit naturally and dont feel bulky.
Next, we send the impressions to a lab where the custom veneers are made to match your smile. While you wait, I usually place temporary veneers so your teeth are protected and you can get an idea of how theyll look. Once the final ones come in, we try them on, make sure everything looks and feels right, and then carefully bond them in place. The whole process is pretty smooth, and seeing someone smile with confidence again is the best part.
Veneers are a great option to improve your smile. The teeth are prepared conservatively, a digital impression is made and sent to the lab. You receive temporary restorations and about a week later the veneers are bonded in place

Veneer Fabrication The dental lab typically takes 12 weeks to make your custom veneers using porcelain or ceramic. These materials are chosen for their strength and natural tooth-like appearance. 5. Final Placement The dentist removes the temporary veneers and checks the fit, shape, and color of the permanent ones. After any needed adjustments, the teeth are cleaned and bonded with dental cement. A special curing light is used to harden the bond and set the veneers in place. 6.
