I use virgin olive oil. 1 liter a week in my hair, my skin, and my food as they do in Greece.

NONE! Never cook with oil. Instead, drizzle cold pressed olive oil or cold pressed coconut oil over your food after you have plated it. Cook with water.

The best cooking oil to use is dependent on what temperature you are cooking at and what method of cooking you are using. Avocado oil is a heart-healthy option that also has something called a high smoke point meaning it reduces the emission of carcinogens into the food you are cooking. Oils such as canola oil have a lower smoke point causing the formation of more carcinogens. Olive oil is also a heart healthy oil that can be used on salads, to make hummus and in many other recipes.
