A mastoid infection otherwise known as mastoiditis is an infection of the ear or part of the temporal bone the large bone behind your ear. It can cause ear pain difficulty hearing or drainage from your ear. You might need antibiotics treatment and in some cases the fluid drained from the middle ear.
