Soft bristle brush .

The best tooth brush is one with soft bristles. Tooth brushes with medium or hard bristles tend to bounce over the plaque deposits and not brush through them. It’s similar to sweeping a floor. You use a broom with soft bristles to push all the dust. If you use a broom with stiff bristles you have to go over and over it to get all the dirt.

Super soft not just soft. Never medium. Never hard. I personally prefer the Butler Supersoft but there are others.

Before looking to invest in a new toothbrush, I would visit with your doctor or hygienist and make sure you have the appropriate brushing technique.

Always safe to use an extra soft bristle tooth brush.

Thank you for your question.

Yes, The periodontitis can be stopped. Sometimes the bone can be regenerated. In the advanced cases the condition can be arrested, health maintained but the bone will not regenerate.
