Brain or cerebrovascular aneurysms may be watched if they are unruptured and small (<3mm). When they rupture or large enough, aneurysms are Commonly treated with one of few "endovascular techniques". This requires no incision, just a needle stick to get into an artery (usually at the thigh). Sometime a craniotomy or brain surgery is needed to treat the aneurysm.
