Heart arrhythmias can be treated with antiarrhythmic drugs, blood thinners, a procedure that delivers shock to restore a normal rhythm called cardioversion, or catheter ablation to destroy the accessory tissue thats firing the abnormal signals. They can also be treated with implantable devices like pacemakers and defibrillators. Treatment is highly individualized, taking multiple factors into consideration.
