I am a 33 year old female. I want to know what type of anesthesia is used for root canal surgery?
You have to talk to your dentist
Usually local anesthesia, an injection near the tooth.
Your dentist will give you a good nerve block.
Local anesthetic administered by the dentist doing the root canal. Sometimes they give a little sedative such as lorazepam.

Steven
