• When can I driver after PRK?

I will have PRK surgery. When can I drive after PRK?

1 Answer

  • Ophthalmologist
  • Charlotte, NC

Driving after PRK is typically at the 1 week mark, after the bandage contact lens has been removed and the cornea surface has healed completely. Vision is adequate for legal driving but does not become clear for another 3-4 weeks.
