It depends on what type of heel surgery you're having. There are different types of procedures with some of them being more invasive which takes longer time to heal. Hi! This depends on what type of procedure you are having and should be discussed with your surgeon. Soft tissue takes 4-6 weeks to heal and bone takes 6-8 weeks to heal. This all depends on how you feel, imaging etc

The answer is "it depends". it depends on the type of surgery, reason you are having the surgery (what condition and diagnosis), surgeons preference, recovery process, etc... In my office, with the use of minimally invasive approach, patients return to full normal life in 4-6wks with heel surgery.
