• When should I see a neurologist for sciatic nerve pain?

I have sciatic nerve pain already 5 days. Will it go on its own? When should I see a neurologist for sciatic nerve pain?

  • Family Practitioner
  • Bellevue, WA

IF your pain is not getting better in 7-10 days or if you have any other symptoms, e.g., tingling, numbness, or weakness in your legs, then you will need to see Neurology. You can contact your primary care doctor for earlier evaluation if you are not sure about your symptoms.
