As soon as you can.

Depends on the type of injury, but probably as fast as possible.

I would start within 3-6 days of the injury. Sometimes pain will resolve but I would still advocate to have a thorough physical examination by a competent physical therapist to assess why you developed the pain the first place.

Ice first for 3 days and then you can start PT.

You can start right away with a good therapist who won't overdue it.

As soon as possible

I would call now to get in as soon as possible. In the meantime, rest and ice 20 minutes on and off to aid with the pain. Call your local PT office to schedule an evaluation because sometimes it can be a couple days before you can get in.
