Not. There are a lot of different medications for migraine headache. Please check Nurtec. It is great for migraine headache treatment and prevention.

There is no best medication, there is only the right one for you. It is like no one tool is the best tool. Only the right tool for the right job. See your doctor to evaluation and find the right treatment for you.

Triptans (serotonin receptor agonists) work for some. If you get at least 14 migraines per month, I recommend considering Botox injections. They have been proven to be safe and effective and can last for months.

Of course the one that works for you is the best. You might try Ibuprofen, Imitrex, or Butalbitol and see. The last two are Rx, so you will have to work with your Dr.
