I have nerve pain from my hip to my knee. Why do I have nerve pain?

You type of pain is usually due to physical pressure on the nerve from surrounding structures. As you age, the discs between your vertebrae lose water and shrink and bulge out to the side and may cause pressure and pain on the exiting nerves. Please visit your primary care physician for evaluation.
