I had colon surgery 3 days ago. Since then I have had diarrhea. Will diarrhea after colon surgery go away?

Usually yes, may take a few weeks
It depends of how much colon was removed and which part of the colon was removed. Chronic diarrhea might be the result if there was a large portion of colon resected or if the ileum and ileocecal valve are resected.
