I wear an ostomy bag and will soon undertake a 3/4 hr operation on my spine. Will lying on my stomach cause any problems?

That will depend on multiple factors like where exactly is your ostomy located, when was it performed and why was it needed. Since these are important in answering your question I suggest that you discuss this in detail with your surgeon prior to your scheduled surgery.
You should be ok but they will need to make a special accommodation for the ostomy bag and keep an eye on it as it fills during the surgery.
It should not cause any issues. The team will just need to ensure the bag is secure so it does not leak during the procedure.
