• Are spots on the sclera of the eye common?

I noticed this morning that my 5 year old daughter has yellowish spots on the whites of her eyes. Is this normal, or should we see a doctor?

See an ophthalmologist.

It could be normal color variation or thickened conjunctiva. Usually there is no cause for concern unless it enlarges or changes colour

These are common and usually flecks of pigment. If they suddenly grow bigger or change in vision, they need to be checked.
