I'm 24, and I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. It's always been very hard for me to date because of my anxiety. Are there dating groups for those with anxiety? What can I do to help me be more confident?
Sure, outpatient clinics usualy have them. You can ask in a university in its counceling psychologic Deparment.
i would suggest starting your own individual therapy to decrease your anxiety.
Not that I know of. Odd question and the anxiety needs to be resolved instead of finding others like that, sorry
I do not know about dating groups for individuals with anxiety. That said, a good cognitive-behavioral therapist can certainly help address social anxiety by helping a patient 'practice' being in social situations that are safe without avoiding. When we avoid things that actually aren't dangerous, our brain still responds as though we are in danger. Breaking this pattern of avoidance to non-dangerous situations is key.
