• Can a bath increase chances of a urinary tract infection?

I read in an article that having a bath in the tub can increase the chances of a urinary tract infection. I love taking baths at home quite frequently, so if this is true, I'm not sure on what I should do. Is the article true?

Yes and no. It depends on the water. If you shower before a bath and put fresh water in a bath then it is unlikely but if you go in a hot tub that was last filled a few months ago then yes it can cause a UTI
