What is the best way to clean my nebulizer?

I am using a home nebulizer kit for my son, because he wheezes a lot. How should this kit be cleaned?

With water alone.

Make a solution with 1 part distilled vinegar and 3 parts warm tap water and rinse the plastic parts with this and air dry.
